MannaCup · Legal
Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 9, 2026
MannaCup is designed as a local-first devotional journal. User-entered gratitude, intention, journal notes, prayer notes, plan progress, reminder settings, and app preferences are stored on your device unless you choose to export or share them.
Prayer Circles
If you join a Prayer Circle, the prayer requests you explicitly share with that circle are sent to our servers so the other members can see them. Circle requests are stored associated only with the circle's code — never with your name, account, or device (we ask for none of the three). Anyone who has a circle's code can read that circle's requests, so share the code only with people you trust. Everything else in MannaCup — your personal journal, private intentions, gratitude, and your mornings — remains on your device, as always.
What MannaCup does not do
The MannaCup app does not require an account, sell your data, provide a public social feed, upload your journal to a developer server, request location permission, request camera permission, request contacts permission, use IDFA, or request App Tracking Transparency permission. Our websites — the marketing site at mannacup.app and the web app at app.mannacup.app — may use standard analytics and advertising measurement tools, such as Google Analytics and Meta and TikTok pixels, to understand site traffic and how our campaigns perform, subject to your consent where the law requires it. Google Analytics on our websites is configured for measurement only, with advertising storage denied by default. This measurement never includes your prayer, gratitude, intention, journal text, or scripture text.
Purchases
MannaCup Pro is processed by Apple. Release builds may use RevenueCat to manage entitlement status. Purchase processing may involve Apple account purchase information, transaction identifiers, product identifiers, purchase history, subscription status, trial eligibility, and entitlement status needed to unlock Pro features, restore purchases, and diagnose purchase issues.
MannaCup does not ask you to create an in-app account and does not collect an email address, phone number, name, or password for purchase access.
Analytics
MannaCup may send privacy-filtered product analytics events through PostHog, such as onboarding completion, first ritual completion, paywall views, purchase results, restore results, free limit hits, feature gate hits, app version, app build, release channel, and language. These events help improve the app and do not include prayer, gratitude, intention, journal text, scripture text, exported journal contents, contacts, precise location, or advertising identifiers.
Meta app activation and SKAdNetwork
MannaCup includes the Meta Core SDK to send a limited app activation event so Meta can recognize the iOS app for privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork install campaigns. Meta automatic in-app purchase event logging and advertising identifier collection are disabled. MannaCup does not request App Tracking Transparency permission, access IDFA, or send prayer, gratitude, intention, journal text, scripture text, or exported journal contents to Meta.
Subscription events are not currently forwarded from RevenueCat to Meta. That integration remains disabled unless MannaCup adds an App Tracking Transparency-compliant consent flow and updates its disclosures in the same release.
TikTok app events and advertising measurement
MannaCup includes the TikTok App Events SDK to measure privacy-safe install and in-app conversion performance for TikTok advertising. The SDK may report app install, launch, day-two retention, onboarding completion, first ritual completion, ritual completion, paywall view, checkout, trial start, subscription start, three-morning-path completion, and an initial paid purchase. A paid purchase may include the product identifier, transaction identifier, price, and ISO currency needed for deduplication and return-on-ad-spend reporting. A free trial is not reported as paid revenue.
TikTok automatic StoreKit purchase logging, enhanced data postback, and SDK-written SKAdNetwork conversion values are disabled. MannaCup does not share the anonymous RevenueCat app-user ID with TikTok, request App Tracking Transparency permission, access IDFA, or send prayer, gratitude, intention, journal text, scripture text, exported journal contents, email, phone number, name, contacts, or precise location to TikTok. RevenueCat and PostHog remain the source of truth for renewals, cancellations, billing issues, expirations, and refunds; those lifecycle events are not sent to TikTok from the app.
Apple Health
If you enable the optional mindful minutes feature, MannaCup may write completed prayer rituals as mindful sessions to Apple Health. MannaCup does not read Apple Health data.
Notifications
Reminder notifications are scheduled locally on your device. Notification preferences stay on your device unless Apple stores related operating-system settings as part of iOS.
Exports
If you export journal entries or share a generated card, those files are created because you requested them. You control where exported files are saved or shared. Once you send exported content to another app, person, or service, that destination's privacy practices apply.
Retention and deletion
Devotional content stored locally in MannaCup is removed when you delete the app, subject to any iOS backups or exported files you control. Apple, RevenueCat, PostHog, Meta, and TikTok may retain operational records according to their own policies where required for purchases, entitlement management, analytics, advertising measurement, fraud prevention, security, accounting, or legal compliance.
Children
MannaCup does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not require an account or user profile. If you believe a child provided personal information through support email or another channel, contact us so we can address it.
